ComfortFoam® Border is a highly absorbent self-adherent silicone foam island dressing. This 5-layer dressing consists of a full contact surface of gentle silicone, fast absorbency foam that draws fluid away from the wound via a special combination of moisture-wicking and moisture-locking fiber layers toward the waterproof polyurethane film backing material. The silicone adhesive sticks to surrounding skin but not to the wound bed, minimizing pain and the risk of damage to the wound area. Supports normalization of wound bed temperature. Showerproof.
